Hi, friends! I spent Saint Paddy's Day in Chicago. There was plenty of green beer, a parade, and a green river in Chicago, but I was too busy working to partake in any of that! I was at the International Home and Housewares show.
I had a fantasy that I would pack my running shoes and then come home and write a blog on how to eat healthy and exercise while on the road. Well, that was a failure. First of all, I completely underestimated the number of consecutive hours I would spend on my feet. Eight hours a day on my feet for a cubicle dweller is a lot. The treadmill at the hotel was
not even a option after a long day on my feet. Then there were the company dinners. Sigh. Back on track today.

Curtis Stone was there. His accent is as cute as his face. |

Bye bye Chicago. |

Brrr! I have a hard time fitting in working out while traveling too:/
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard! I need to do better next time though. LOL!
DeleteChicago ROCKS - especially on St Patty's Day. I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to enjoy the Lakefront Trail though. It's such a pretty run.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I wish I had more time to explore more of the city. I did see people running downtown (even though it was really freezing) and I was jealous! :)
