Throwback Thursday: What Goldilocks Taught Us About Moderation

Welcome to Throwback Thursday, a once monthly post where I share a blog from the archives that you may have missed the first time around. Heck, half the time I start digging around for a Throwback Thursday post, I find old posts that even I forgot about.

I wrote this one back when this blog was still called Running for Dummies. Sometimes I crack myself up. Here's a quote from the original post:
"I'm the dummy in Running for Dummies. I hope that is clear. My blog is all about sharing my learning experiences with you, until one day, I'll get so smart that I will have to change the name of my blog to Running for Geniuses. Then we can all do long division in our heads on our long runs."
Who knew that when I originally wrote that post back in January of 2013 that I would be changing my blog name soon, not to accommodate my newly acquired genius status, but to avoid any liability to the "for dummies" book people. I guess I did get a little smarter after all.

I loved this post, moderation is something that I have always struggled with, I tend to be 100% invested or 100% disinterested. Moderation is something I need to be hyper-aware of so that the pendulum doesn't swing too far in either direction.

  1. Love it! Direct and to the point yet sometimes made overly complicated.
