Throwback Thursday |
Oops. I have been so busy lately I almost forgot the September edition of Throwback Thursday! We are in the midst of a major bathroom remodel, I started a new job (yay) and have been studying (not enough lately) for my personal training certification. Things have been so hectic, I've barely had the time to run. Now here it is, the last week of September! I am thankful for the cooler weather blowing in and I am hopeful to start my marathon training back up. September flew by so quickly.
My throwback Thursday post this month is the perfect blog for me right now because I just joined a new gym (yay) and plan on throwing in some short (but sweet - I mean, sweaty) treadmill runs on my lunch break. I love lunch break workouts because I don't have to wake up at an ungodly hour to do it and it doesn't delay me getting home at night to my husband. It forces me to bring my lunch from home, so in the end I am not spending money, not eating out, and getting in a work out. Win-win-win. The only downside is that I have to go back to work a little sweaty, but nothing a quick wipe down and a heavy body spray won't cover. Let's just hope my co-workers don't notice.
I hope you will click over and check out the original post. Leave me a comment and let me know how you get through your treadmill workouts.I was going to call this post, "How to Make Your Treadmill Runs Fun" but ultimately decided that I didn't want to over promise and under deliver. Fun is strong word. I suspected you would question my sanity if I used the words 'fun' and 'treadmill' in the same sentence.
Let's just agree on, "How to Make Your Treadmill Runs Not Suck."
