When I
am running, I really feel like ME. Even if it is hard, even if it
sucks, even if I have exercise-induced coughing fits (yeah, that
happens now). When I hit the pavement I become me. And when I neglect
running for too long, there is something missing and I feel like I lose a
part of myself.
Running exercises my body, but it is the only time I get all day to relax my mind.
I run for me.
